Trigeminal Neuralgia – A Dreaded and Painful Disease

The human body can withstand 45 Del (unit ) of pain, this is the amount of pain that a body can feel without collapsing and worst dying. During child birth a woman would suffer 57 Del of pain that is like 20 different body bones being fractured at the same time. The human body can only take a little pain before passing out, trigeminal neuralgia is a painful disease reaching up to 90 Del that is described by Wikipedia as the most painful condition ever known to mankind.

Trigeminal neuralgia is associated with severe and intense pain conditions in the face originating from the trigeminal nerve. Different trigeminal neuralgia treatment is available but no significant claims, they are successful survivors of this disease that are diagnosed early. Long term diagnosis may result to permanent nerve damage which will make you suffer for a very long period of time.

The first minor attack is one side of the face which will eventually turn to the other side, the pain is caused by an enlarged blood vessel which continue to compress or throb against the microvascular of the trigeminal nerves. The agony attacks are very well known to worsen the effect and prolong the severity of the pain as the treatment  prolongs as well.

Surgery is not an option since no known evidence claims that it would be successful , it will only be recommended by the physician if medical treatment is proven to be unsuccessful. There are many surgical methods that are available and yet the result is very poor due to variations in the conditions of neuralgia patients. No known surgical method can cure nerve damage in a person, all it can possibly do is find a way to lessen the pain and it usually involves the neuropathy treatment .

The human body is known for its fragility, we are only allowed to have one body therefore we must take good care of our body. The illnesses that are presented above can be very expensive and yet it is very preventable, we must possess a healthy lifestyle, we should be wise enough to know what is good and what is bad for our health.
